Gathradonna and Ginnifa
We recently purchased these lovely young weanlings as cria at foot with their dams from the Esterlina dispersal sale. Ginnifas dam Jingana Ariadne is well known in suri circles and has previously been used as an ET donor. Gathradonna's dam, also out of Ariadne, is Jingana Athene.
Amethyst and Dominique
2 yearling females from our 11/12 summer drop. Dominique is sired by Surilana Donaldo and Amethysts sire is Cedar House Excalibar 2. Can you pick which is the pure suri and which is the BC1?
Babette October 2010
Babette is now up for sale as we have her full sister to breed on with. Babette has very good locking on her second fleece, especially when considered she is a BC1.Her fleece is also very fine and lustrous. She is full sister to Marcel ( on our logo) and half sister to Emmanuelle.

Lady Rose was our first ever female purchase and matriarch of our herd. Although we decided to specialise in white suri we could not bare to sell her as we were so fond of her, amazingly, she gave us more white F1 cria than coloured. She was a sweet gentle girl, excellent producer and mum.

Frejas Jewel and Frida
Given we are now producing a variety of suri crosses we were not going to purchase any more, however in mid 2012 Deb couldnt resist Jingana Frejas Jewel, a daughter of Jingana Vishnu. Jewel has fabulous density and locking.
Jingana Ariadne
Although she was already 14 years of age,we were very pleased to successfully bid on Ariadne at auction in 2013. Her dam, La Rosa Blanca is well known as one of the finest fleeced early suri imports. Ariadne was a donor in the former Jingana ET programme.
Bellawood Suzie
Whilst we dont normally purchase coloured animals we couldnt resist Susie, a light fawn BC3 female.She is sired by Jingana Ra and had masses of dense lustrous locking when we purchased her. She is now shorn and being mated to Donaldo, we look forward to that cria!
Frida 10 months old
Frida is growing out very nicely with solid bone,terrific suri appearance and a dense fleece.She will make a good girl for us to breed on with and can be mated to any of our males as she has some totally different genetics.
Birrong Lily of the Valley
Although we try not to have favourites, we have to admit Lily is one of our favourite herd members, with her gentle, mild mannered and sensible attitude. Here she is with one of her sons, Shangrilah Muscari.
Babette with her first cria Belle
Babette is one of our better quality BC1's, who is still fine and lustrous on her 4th fleece. We are pleased with what Babette and Knight in White Satin have produced in Belle, pictured here at 2.5 months with loving mother Babette.
Jolimont Corazon
We purchased Jolimont Corazon, initially a Peruvian import, from Elysion Alpacas in late 2015. Corazon has a lovely frame and has produced some very good quality cria.
Elysion Serendipity
I have had a strong interest in this girl for some 7 years, since I met her as an intermediate in full show fleece. Needless to say I was very excited when purchased her and brought her home in the latter part of 2015.

Birrong La Boheme is an F1 suri and one of our early foundation girls.Pictured here in 2007. She has maintained a fine fleece and given us some good quality second crosses and is a no problem excellent mother and birther.
Alcazar Pascalina S8
Pascalina is the dam of Shangrilah Kinks, who is listed on our sales page. Being from the Alcazar herd, Pascalina is a pure suri and solid white, she has consistently had a very fine fleece since we purchased her, an attribute from her sire, our Excalibar 2.
Carmel and Dianella
Carmel is one of our foundation girls,she is an F1 who still has a fine fleece at 10 years old; she is a great mother and has always given us solid white cria. Carmel is very much one of our herd matriarchs. Dianella is the 3rd cria Carmel has had at Shangrilah.

Chiquita and Antoinette
Chiquita (left of photo) is full sister to Damita (for sale)and one of our more gentle, quite girls who has proven a very good mother with her first cria. Antoinette is one of our best yet BC1's who's fleece won Reserve Champion suri at the '09 New England Alpaca show.
Chantelle
Chantelle is one of our more recent purchases. She is a daughter of Pucara Tahiti ( an Allegro son) and was awarded several ribbons in the show ring on her first fleece. She is an exceptionally well grown, large sized young girl and we have mated her to our new stud.
