Alcazar Suri Stud
Alcazar Suri Stud is co-owned by Ian and Fiona Vanderbeek and ourselves. Keeping the Suri Pure® is our motto and our primary aim. Although, as with the Shangrilah herd, we are specialising in white suri with the Alcazar herd, unlike the Shangrilah herd, no cross breeding programmes are, or have been in the past, undertaken within the Alcazar herd. A core group of Alcazar animals reside with the Vanderbeeks in the Southern Highlands of NSW, whilst the remainder reside here with us on the NSW Northern Tablelands. The Alcazar stud males move between both locations.

Birrong Suri Alpacas
Ian and Fiona Vanderbeek are focused on breeding white suri at their Birrong Suri Stud in the NSW Southern Highlands. At Birrong you will find quality white suris for sale, with an array of well known genetic backgrounds, many being top class, but also offered at very reasonable prices. Ian and Fiona offer the very best in pre and post sales support and service, in addition to suri educational workshops and farm tours. We purchased our first white suris from Ian and Fiona and have readily returned to make further purchases from them on a number of occasions. We are now proudly in partnership with them through joint ownership of the Alcazar Suri Stud.

Keith Faint - Alpaca Shearing
Keith has been doing our alpaca shearing for several years now and came to us with a lot of experience and recommendations by other alpaca breeders. Keith custom built and designed his own shearing table and we have found shearing on the table much less back breaking on us and more dignified for our alpacas. Keith listens to and acts on our requests (no matter how pedantic) and we hope to be able to continue to have him as our shearer for many years to come.
